Easy, Delicious and Fool Proof Banana Bread Recipe
This recipe is truly one of the easiest banana bread recipes and the most delicious, trust me.
This was my grandmother's recipe and we make it all the time in our house. It’s delicious anytime you are in the mood for banana bread and it’s also a great way to use those bananas that are over ripe. Enjoy!
3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of slat
1 1/2 cup of flour
Makes 1 loaf. Preparation time - 5 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
With wooden spoon, mix butter into bananas in large bowl
Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla
Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in
Add flour last, mix
Pour mixture into buttered 4x8 loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour (start checking it after 30 minutes, and then tent with foil if the top gets too dark). Cool on rack.
